A heat pump needs a circuit. A shop needs a trench before it needs a panel. Holding all three tickets is why our jobs do not stall waiting on somebody else’s schedule.

The job that needs three trades
Putting a heat pump on an older house is rarely just a heat pump. It wants a dedicated circuit, a disconnect, sometimes a panel with room to spare, and often a trench for the line set.
When that work is split between an HVAC company, an electrician and a digger, each one waits on the last, and the parts nobody owns — the disconnect, the permit, the backfill — are where the week goes.
We hold Washington registration SUNVIVE776ML and residential electrical licence SUNVIVE845MO, and we run the excavator ourselves. One crew, one schedule, one company answerable for the whole thing.
Recent work
5,500 square feet, start to finish
Power brought in from the street. A 24kW automatic standby generator. All the interior wiring, lights and receptacles through to the septic. Two Mitsubishi Hyper-Heat pumps feeding three air handlers. And the trenching to the house, because that was ours too.
It is the clearest example of the argument above: on a build that size, the handoffs between trades are where the schedule breaks. There were none.

Are you licensed and insured in Washington?
Yes. Sun View Electric LLC holds Washington contractor registration SUNVIVE776ML and residential electrical contractor licence SUNVIVE845MO, both active, and we are bonded and insured. You can check both yourself on the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries verification tool.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free. We also take 10% off for military members and senior citizens.
Do you do both the electrical and the heating on one job?
Yes, and that is the point of us. A heat pump needs a circuit, a disconnect and sometimes a trench. Most companies subcontract at least one of those. We hold both licences and own the excavator, so one crew handles the whole job and nobody is waiting on anybody.
Which areas do you cover?
All of Pierce County, including Spanaway, Graham, Parkland, Frederickson, Puyallup, Tacoma, Eatonville and Roy, plus parts of Thurston and King County. We are based in South Pierce, so the south end is our home ground.
