Privacy Policy
This is a small website for a contracting company. It has one form on it. This page says what happens to anything you type into that form, and what the site does and does not track. It is short because there is not much to say.
The short version
We collect what you tell us on the contact form, and we use it to get back to you about the work. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising or tracking pixels. We do not sell, rent or trade anyone’s details.
Who we are
Sun View Electric Heating & Air is the trading name of Sun View Electric LLC, a Washington company, UBI 604011134. We do residential electrical, heating, cooling and excavation work across Pierce County and parts of Thurston and King. Our phone number is 253-861-0485. Mail reaches us at PO Box 4632, Spanaway, WA 98387, which is a mailing address rather than an office to visit.
What the form collects
The site has one contact form. It asks for:
- Your name.
- A phone number.
- An email address, if you want to give one. It is optional.
- The kind of work — electrical, heating and cooling, or excavation.
- Anything you write in the message box.
When you send the form, those details come to us so we can answer. There is one more field, hidden off the side of the page, that you will never see and should leave alone. It is bait for automated spam scripts, which fill in every field they find. That is the whole of it. Nothing on this page records what you clicked, how far you scrolled or how long you stayed.
What we do with it
We use it to reply about the job you asked about: to call you back, ask a question, give you an estimate or book a visit. Nothing else. It does not go to a mailing list, an advertiser or a lead broker, because we do not use any of those. If you go ahead with the work, your details sit in our ordinary business records the same way they would if you had called us on the phone.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, so there is no script on these pages counting you or following you between pages. There are no advertising pixels, no social media trackers and no session recording. The typefaces are hosted on our own site, so loading a page sends no request to a font service.
There are no accounts here, nothing to log into, and no payments taken on this website.
The two outside companies involved
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Visiting any website means asking a server for a page, so Cloudflare handles your request, and like any host it keeps standard server logs — the page asked for, the time, your IP address and the browser you used. Those logs are Cloudflare’s and are kept under Cloudflare’s own policy. We do not use them to build a picture of anybody.
The home page has a quiet background animation drawn with the Three.js library. Your browser fetches that one library file from the unpkg CDN, which is a server we do not run, so unpkg sees that request the way any server sees a request for a file. No other page on the site loads it, and it never carries anything you typed into the form.
How long we keep it
An enquiry stays with us while we are working on it, and afterwards in our records, because a contractor has to be able to say what was installed and when. We do not run a fixed clock on that. If you would rather yours was gone, ask us and we will remove it.
Your choices
- Ask what we hold. Call 253-861-0485 and we will tell you what we have from you.
- Ask us to delete it. Call and say so. We will take your enquiry out of our records, apart from anything we have to keep for a permit, an inspection or our accounts.
- Skip the form. Calling works just as well and leaves nothing on this website at all.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type is encrypted on the way to us. No system is perfect and we will not pretend otherwise, so please keep sensitive things off the form. We will never ask for card numbers, bank details or a Social Security number through this website.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something through the form, call us and we will delete it.
Where this applies
We are a Washington company doing work in Washington, and we handle information under Washington and United States law. We have not written this page to claim compliance with privacy regimes that may not apply to a company our size. What we can tell you is what actually happens, which is what is set out above. If you want your information removed, the answer is the same wherever you are reading this: call and ask.
Changes to this page
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top changes too. There is no notification list, because we do not run one.
