Terms of Use
These terms cover the use of this website. They are not the agreement for work at your home — that comes from the estimate and the paperwork we hand you in person.
Who these terms are from
This website is published by Sun View Electric LLC, which trades as Sun View Electric Heating & Air. Below, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “the site” means this website.
We hold Washington contractor registration SUNVIVE776ML and residential electrical contractor licence SUNVIVE845MO, under UBI 604011134. Both are active and you can check them yourself on the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries verification tool.
Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The site is informational
Everything here is published to explain what we do and where we work. We keep it as accurate as we can, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or free of errors. Service lists, project write-ups, photographs and the areas we cover can all change without notice, and so can codes, equipment and our own schedule.
If something on the site matters to a decision you are about to make, call 253-861-0485 and ask us. A short phone call is more reliable than a page that was written months ago.
Nothing here is a quote or a contract
Estimates are free, and they are given in person once we have looked at the job. Nothing on this website is a quote, a price, an offer or a contract for work. That includes every service description, every project page and every form on the site.
Sending the estimate form starts a conversation. It does not book work, and it does not create an agreement between us. The work we agree to do is set out in the estimate and paperwork you receive from us directly. If those documents and this website ever disagree, the documents are what counts.
Photographs and past work
The photographs on this site are of jobs our own crew has done, and the projects we describe are real jobs written up as they happened. They are there to show the kind of work we take on.
They are not a promise about your job. Every house is different: a different panel, a different service, different ducting, different ground to dig and different permitting. Nothing shown here guarantees a particular result, a particular cost or a particular schedule on your property.
Links to other sites
We link out to our Facebook page, our Google profile and the L&I verification tool. Those sites belong to other organizations. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content or accuracy, and we cannot govern how they handle your information.
A link is not an endorsement of anything else you find on the far side of it. The L&I link is there so you can confirm our registration and licence for yourself, which we would rather you did.
Content on this site
The text, the photographs, the page layouts and the Sun View name and mark belong to Sun View Electric LLC or are used with permission. You are welcome to read the site, print a page for your own use and share a link to it.
Please do not copy our photographs or our writing into your own advertising, another company’s website or a listing, and do not use our name or mark in a way that suggests we did work we did not do. If you want to use something from the site, call and ask. The answer is often yes.
Limits on our responsibility
In plain terms: use this website at your own risk. We are not responsible for loss that comes from using the site, from relying on something you read here, or from the site being slow, changed or unavailable. That includes lost time, lost money and damage to property or equipment.
Nothing on the site is professional advice about your particular house. Electrical and heating work carries real risk, and in Washington most of it must be permitted and performed by a licensed contractor. Please do not treat anything here as instructions for doing the work yourself.
Some responsibilities cannot be limited by an agreement like this one. Nothing in these terms sets aside a right you have under Washington law or limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
Your privacy
How we handle the details you send through the estimate form, and what happens to them afterwards, is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We update this page when the site changes or when the law does. The date at the top shows the last revision. Using the site after a change means you accept the version published at that time.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute about this website, are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any such dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts of Washington.
How to reach us
Questions about these terms are best asked over the phone. We answer Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, and take calls on weekends.
